BC’s wild Pacific salmon economy along with 100,000 jobs is at risk of collapse.

“The federal government needs to keep its committment to remove open-net fish farms from our communities,” said Chief Dr. Robert Joseph, Gwawaenuk First Nation, O.C., O.B.C., Founder and Ambassador of Reconciliation Canada.

120+ First Nations from across BC are united with commercial, sport & Indigenous fishers and wilderness tourism groups on the need to remove open-net pen salmon farms by 2025.
