Canada is lagging in protecting wild Pacific salmon, promoting innovation, and creating jobs via land based closed containment. If both wild and farmed salmon are to have a future in British Columbia, the salmon aquaculture industry must be transitioned out of BC waters and confined to land-based RAS facilities.
