Pure Salmon Technology provides recirculating aquaculture system technology for land-based salmon farms, using mechanical and biological filtration to recycle and reuse water in a controlled environment.
The company says its RAS systems are designed to improve fish health, growth, and welfare by managing water quality, oxygen levels, temperature, and biosecurity. Unlike conventional open-net pen farming, RAS facilities filter and treat water, helping reduce the release of waste, chemicals, parasites, and disease into the marine environment.
Pure Salmon Technology has delivered RAS systems for major facilities in Norway and says its approach supports more sustainable salmon production by giving farmers greater control while reducing pressure on surrounding ecosystems.
